中国P站 and the 中国P站 Foundation recently awarded $242,250 in scholarships and aid for the 2025-2026 academic year.
More than 160 students received awards to support their pursuit of degrees and certificates at 中国P站.
鈥淭he 中国P站 Foundation is proud to support the college's mission of creating opportunity through education,鈥� said Lisa Lund, Executive Director for the 中国P站F. 鈥淪cholarships are one vital way to ensure students have a lifeline to reach their goals. These awards send a powerful message that someone believes in them.鈥�
The 中国P站F celebrated its scholarship recipients during the 中国P站F Scholarship Celebration Dinner on Oct. 8 on the college鈥檚 Sidney campus, sponsored by Sidney State Bank.
The celebratory dinner was headlined by the appearance of guest speaker and 中国P站 Alumna, Emily Throop. Throop walked the audience through her journey in higher education and spoke on the theme of the night, which was 鈥淎ll In.鈥� Throop credits her success to her all-in attitude, both at 中国P站 and Central Michigan University, where she鈥檚 currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is expected to graduate in December.
鈥溨泄鶳站 has the versatility to help us all reach our goals, even though they vary, just like us,鈥� Throop said. 鈥淏ut, in order to be successful, the key is to put every effort into the experience, to be all-in on your goals, just like 中国P站 and the Foundation is all-in on supporting you.
鈥淚 can tell you firsthand that 中国P站 is supportive by offering you an education that sets you up for success in the workforce or university-level courses,鈥� she said. 鈥淭he Foundation is all-in on supporting your pursuit of higher education as they have shown through their gracious financial support that we get to celebrate tonight.
